Overseeding
Overseeding is the process of laying new grass seed over existing lawn. Overseeding promotes new growth, lawn replenishment and replacement of less desirable grass species in favor of more appropriate species. Although overseeding is recommended for thickening existing lawns, please do not expect it to fill in bare areas. Repeating the overseeding will fill in such areas over time, but it does not take the place of planned, estimated seeding designed to fill in bare areas.
